Over the past few years, TranSystems has partnered with the Kansas Logistics Park in Newton, KS to be available and provide expertise for planning infrastructure, project design services including the design of the I-135/36th Street interchange on the south side of Newton and providing a study documenting Newton's fit in the Wind Industry examining a number of different factors.
Last week,
the City of Newton announced that our partnership will now include designing and constructing the new facility for the KLP's newest Tenant, New Millenium Wind Energy. TranSystems has teamed with Dondlinger and Sons to provide design-build services to the City of Newton and New Millenium.
This is an exciting next step in our firm's participation in the Wind industry and hopefully the start of more exciting projects like this one to come. I have been a large supporter of this nation's energy independence and alternative and renewable energy solutions. Kansas is a state that is poised to be a leader in our nation's march towards energy independence.
