One of the things I’m most proud of about being a Kansas resident is the commitment they have made in renewable energy. Kansas already ranks 14th in the United States according to the American Wind Energy Association for existing wind generating installations and Kansas continues to grow as evidenced by the numerous wind farms and manufacturing sites that are springing up across the State of Kansas. Biomass renewable energy projects are also a priority in Kansas and this article below highlights two projects that are receiving federal stimulus money.
